Conference room name battle
[Update 8/02/04: Voting is closed – see the results.]
We’ve received dozens of good suggestions in the Name My Conference Rooms contest. Here are the five six finalists:
Please vote for your favorite. Vote early, but only vote once. If I see suspicious IP address voting patterns, I reserve the right to throw away votes. So as not to upstage our upcoming national election, there will be no verifiable paper trail. The winner will receive random CoreStreet goodies and a $150 gift certificate from Amazon.com. The runner-up will just get the goodies.
Voting will close at 11:59 PM (eastern US time), Sunday, July 31st August 1st. Winners will be announced on Monday.
Fight!
[Nepotism alert: the “planetary mnemonics” entry was submitted by my brother, or someone pretending to be him.]
[Update: Sunday is the 1st, not the 31st.]

Clarification required: I'm only voting for "Historically Important Fortifications" if the Maginot Line is included.

Probably too late for a new idea, but what about Linux distribution names? (Mandrake, RedHat, Suse, Debian, Gentoo, Slackware, Fedora, Turbo, Icepack, Stampede) Man, you certainly wouldn't lack for choices on this one.

You're a security company, right? It's all about spies/secret identities.

We’re a serious company dealing with identity and security issues. The conference room naming process can be a bit of fun.

A mutual friend suggested I vote, and I chose the Bermuda Parishes. After I saw how popular that choice was, I hesitate to offer an additional suggestion: Jazz nicknames. Bird, Diz, Pres, Bix, Sassy, Pops, Satchmo, Sweets, Duke, Count, Slide, Bean, Fatha, Jelly Roll, Fathead, Fats, Cootie, Zoot

"Historically Important Fortifications" of course. How do you go wrong with that?

If the forts win, consider Vauban, Ticonderoga, and Palmanova.
