I thoroughly enjoyed it ... it's a whole lot more fun than reading Strunk & White! But if you're done with your copy, my mom would enjoy one—would you consider mailing it to her? ;-)

I love my mother, but ... you're right, there is no accounting for taste. I still haven't recovered from 70's avacado green ... furniture, house trim, cabinets, bathroom decor—I barely managed to escape having avacado green clothes!

The book was good; however, I think Lynne Truss used too much exaggeration. I also think it reads to be a bit stuck up and conceited. Even though the book was not the most interesting read, it has given very helpful writing advice.

i absolutely HATED this book. i HATED the author and her stupid, sarcastic and imature comments and thoughts strewn throughout the book. the only reason i finished it was because i had to for school to pass english...
